Summer Shift - Do avoid sudden changes in the temperature in summer - as in, entering an outside temperature of 40 degrees Celsius from a room that is cooled below 20 degrees Celsius will invite problems.
Summer Sleep - In summer, day sleep is ayurvedically permitted for those who are physically exhausted due to exposure to sun. But it should be resorted to in a room that is least heated up.
