It was difficult to be diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome, and being only of 30years, life had come to a standstill. The medicines i was on, kept me going somehow.

I knew from my Ayurveda doctor-friend, that lifestyle changes were most necessary in my case, for healing to be smoother and faster.He put me on some simple medication, plus drastic lifestyle and diet restrictions.

It was indeed difficult for me at first to follow the Ayurveda way of life; but i did it and could see soon that it was really helping!

I am still on Yoga and relaxation techniques that were taught to me then, and i have to thank Ayurveda for getting my digestive system and life centered!

Summer Cool - Water boiled with coriander seeds is good in fighting the heat. Milk, diluted buttermilk, tender coconut water, fresh fruit juices etc. are good for summer!
Summer Sleep - In summer, day sleep is ayurvedically permitted for those who are physically exhausted due to exposure to sun. But it should be resorted to in a room that is least heated up.
